a two-day wedding celebration

the Welcome Party

at Hinana Bar in the Prince Waikiki Hotel

With their guests in mind, Haydlee and Spencer chose to have their intimate Welcome Party at none other than the Prince Waikiki Hotel’s Hinana Bar. With an open concept, private catering and drinks, live entertainment and a gorgeous view of the sunset and weekly Friday fireworks, their two-day celebration was just about to begin!

The couple

Helping wedding couples capture not only their cherished moments, but the emotions of their day.

The wedding day

Bride Getting ready at the Prince Waikiki Hotel

Our couple’s wedding day started out getting ready with their loved ones in separate hotel suites. While the brides suite was buzzing with upbeat music, giggles, and laughter, she was all shy smiles and quiet elegance as her mother helped curl her hair, a touching family tradition on a brides wedding day, and her close friend helped do her wedding makeup.

Meanwhile, the grooms suite was calm, tingling with quiet excitement, and happy cheers of toasts with his friends. Getting ready in their bright suite, the groom had time to unwind, dress, and share a laugh or two.

The Details and Layouts

Perched atop the cliffs of Waialua’s North Shore, Waialua Valley Farms feels like a hidden escape—a serene retreat where time slows down and nature takes center stage. The elegant white event house sits gracefully amidst expansive lawns framed by lush tropical greenery. As the sun begins to set, the surrounding hills come alive in a breathtaking display of golden light, casting a warm, fiery glow that feels almost otherworldly—a true North Shore magic moment that makes this venue unforgettable.

Pre-ceremony Moments at the venue

With the stunning North Shore Cliffs and blue skies as their backdrop, our bride made her way to the wedding venue at Waialua Valley Farms, where she finished getting ready and waited with anticipation for their first looks with family and each other. In the meantime, the groom arrived for portraits.

Family First Looks

Their timeline was Designed with intent to capture their memories

And because capturing these moments were so important to them, Haydlee and Spencer decided to have a First Look with the special people in their lives. For Spencer, it was a First Look with his Mother, sister, and Mother-in-law-to-be. For Haydlee, it was a First Look with her Father, Stepfather, Father-in-Law, and Brother-in-law. This being an emotional time for each, the big reveal brought a huge smile to every face.

First touch & Private Vows

After sharing heartfelt first looks with their loved ones, it was time for Haydlee and Spencer to share a moment of their own. Instead of a traditional first look, they chose a First Touch—a quiet, intimate exchange before reading their private vows. Standing just out of sight, their hands met, grounding them in the emotion of the day and building anticipation for the moment they would finally see each other—a memory destined to stay with them forever.

Guest Arrival

As the couple went their separate ways, the bride to get ready for her walk down the aisle, and the groom to greet his arriving guests, the venues atmosphere was one of joy, anticipation, and excitement. Guests arrived in their best floral dresses and summer suits. Signing the guest book, leaving a message or two for our lovely couple to listen to their well-wishes later, and indulging in a cocktail or two from the Stir Beverage‘s open bar.

The Wedding Ceremony

With guests settled into their seats and delicate parasols lifted to shield them from the afternoon sun, the groom took his place beside his brother-in-law—who joyfully stood ready to officiate the ceremony. As the music began and everyone rose to their feet, the bride came into view, her eyes shimmering with love and a radiant smile lighting her face. With her parents lovingly on each arm, she made her way down the aisle. While all eyes were fixed on her, her gaze found only one person—her groom, whose eyes glistened with tears and adoration at the sight of his beautiful bride walking toward him. The ceremony that followed was short and sweet, filled with laughter, tender moments, and the kind of joy that lingers in the air. Surrounded by their loved ones, Haydlee and Spencer exchanged their vows and said their heartfelt “I do’s” to a chorus of cheers and happy tears.

Couples Photos

Following their heartfelt ceremony, Haydlee and Spencer gathered with their loved ones for family portraits—capturing both the classic moments and a few lighthearted shots filled with laughter and personality. Once family and friends were released to enjoy cocktail hour, the newlyweds slipped away for a few quiet moments together. In the soft post-ceremony glow, they shared intimate couples’ portraits—just the two of them, soaking in the joy of being newly married amidst the beauty of the day.

A celebration

with family & friends

Haydlee and Spencer envisioned an intimate destination wedding surrounded by their closest loved ones, set in the place they would soon call home. Embracing a relaxed and personal celebration, they chose to forgo a traditional wedding party. Instead, they invited their guests to become part of the vibrant scene—dressing in colorful floral attire that perfectly complemented their romantic Garden Party theme.

Cocktail Hour & reception Details

As guests made their way toward the bar and dance floor, they were greeted with a festive touch—refreshing his-and-hers cocktails crafted by Stir Beverage Co. The lively atmosphere was perfectly complemented by the upbeat tunes and seamless entertainment of DJ Lejas, who not only set the tone for the evening but also served as the event’s charismatic emcee. A beautifully styled lounge area invited guests to relax and mingle, while a creative drinking glass favor wall offered a charming surprise—each guest could select a unique glass to enjoy their drinks throughout the night and take home as a keepsake from Haydlee and Spencer’s celebration.

Grand Entrance into First Dance

As the afternoon light softened and the music swelled, excitement filled the air—it was time for the grand entrance. Led in by their immediate family to cheers and joyful applause, Haydlee and Spencer made their way into the reception, radiating pure happiness. Without missing a beat, they took to the dance floor for their first dance—a beautifully choreographed performance that had every guest smiling, laughing, and completely captivated by the newlyweds’ joy.

Father-Daughter & Mother-Son Dances

Following their grand entrance, the celebration turned tender as the couple shared heartfelt moments with their parents. Haydlee took to the dance floor with her father, their smiles soft and full of love, while Spencer shared a touching dance with his mother. As each took their turn, the bride and groom watched one another with quiet admiration—gentle smiles playing on their lips, the emotion of the moment beautifully reflected in their eyes.

The Dinner

A Sit-Down Buffet by Keneke’s Grill & Bluesky Catering

When the Bride has a second dress…

As their guests enjoyed a heartfelt montage celebrating the couple’s journey to this moment, the bride quietly slipped away to change into her second look of the evening — a beautifully refurbished version of her mother’s own wedding dress. With a soft laugh and her husband’s helping hands, Haydlee revealed the ensemble to her mother. The reaction was immediate and tender: tears welling, smiles blooming, and a warm embrace that held generations of love within it.

Cake & Cake cutting

A delicate confection of ivory, cream, and pearls, the wedding cake by Puuwai Aloha Bakery captured one of the year’s most timeless bridal trends. Surrounded by loved ones, the couple shared their first bite—a graceful symbol of unity and the promise to savor life’s sweetness together.

Toasts & Dancing

With glasses raised and laughter floating through the evening, the couple beamed as loved ones delivered heartfelt wedding toasts—each one filled with memories, blessings, and joy. After dinner, the celebration shifted into full swing as DJ Lejas filled the night with vibrant music, while Stir Beverage kept the signature drinks flowing, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable wedding reception.

Last Private Dance and Bubble Exit

As their Hawai‘i wedding celebration drew to a close, the couple slipped away for a private last dance—swaying gently beneath the warm glow of hanging lights and the island breeze. What began as an emotional, joy-filled day ended in pure romance, sealed with a kiss beneath the twinkle of hanging lights.
Surrounded by their closest loved ones, they made their grand exit through a flurry of bubbles, laughter, and aloha—closing the night in a moment as dreamy and unforgettable as their island “I do.”
